Who We Are
A mental health nonprofit organization dedicated primarily to the support and mental wellbeing of California youth.
Our organization's mission is to support, understand, and advocate for youth in our diverse society, particularly those struggling with mental health challenges. Our goal is to spread awareness and educate others on the importance of mental health, as well as encourage them to take part in mental health advocacy.
Understanding. A society where we are able to and truly want to understand the struggles and challenges faced by one another.
Compassion. A society filled with nothing but compassion and genuine care and kindness for one another.
Support. A society willing to support all those who need it.
Acceptance. A society without stigma, prejudice, and bias, where those who suffer from a mental illness are uplifted, not vilified.
At the Canada branch of Mental Health in Youth, located in Vancouver, we are committed to nurturing the mental well-being of young individuals.
Our organization's mission centers around providing unwavering support, fostering understanding, and advocating for the mental health needs of the vibrant youth community in British Columbia. We strive to create a compassionate and inclusive environment where Vancouver's youth, particularly those grappling with mental health adversities, find solace, empowerment, and the resources they need to thrive.
